Cross-Linguistic Data Formats

• The goal of the Cross-Linguistic Data Format initiative, in which I activel participate, is to provide standard formats for the handling of cross-linguistic data (wordlists, dictionaries, parallel texts) and to illustrate how to apply these formats by collecting and retro-standardizing datasets that may serve as an example.
• Since the publication of an earlier descriptoin of CLDF (Forkel et al. 2018), the format and the Python packages that support to generate data in the format have greatly advanced.
